The seeds are harvested from a water farm once a year and are sundried and graded into various sizes, pre-heated at 230C and stored. At this point they are still in their hard kernel/shell.
They are then tempered at 290C-350C again and popped manually by a mallet resulting in the puffed seeds.
The puffed seeds are imported from India and then, when they are back at Gorgon Pop HQ, we roast them for a second time to remove any moisture resulting in the most incredibly crunchy seeds.
After adding the flavoursome seasonings, they are then ready to pack.
